Simple Things

By: Albert Griffin

Simple things rocks your mind,

For those simple things can be hard to find.

What such love do you give,

Such love from you makes me live.

Live to experience so many things,

Happiness given to you by those simple things.

So much free time at hand,

I dropped to one knee taking your hand.

For I spoke sweet words to take your breath away,

By god; lovely woman how I want to sweep you up and away.

It’s the simple things you love the most,

At our wedding I made a toast.

For this simple poem is key for you,

The key to my heart just for you.
