(This is another poem by my fiance; Lisa, who decided to let me share a poem about a different emotion she has experience. This is a poem she called “The Masked Face.”

The Masked Face

By: Lisa Marie Eastman

She hides her pain behind a blank expression on her face.

No tears have filled her empty eyes. Deep inside she crys. All she wants to do is die.

She has an eternal hunger to be free from her invisible chains, but she can’t break free…she’s lost her key.

She remains forever bound. She’s lost, but never found.

This is about a girl you know closer to home than it shows. A beautiful disaster if you see the girl in the poem is really me.
